The Room is a video game I am making for my final year project at LIT Clonmel. The Room tells the story of Dan Morley. Dan Morley wakes up in a mysterious room, unsure of his surroundings Dan slowly begins to realize not everything is as it seems. As the player you will be thrust into mind of someone suffering from PTSD. Explore the complicated mind of Dan Morley, solve puzzles and gather clues to uncover the mystery of The Room. This a project that I completed in 2nd year of College. We were given assets to work with and had to make a scene with them. I came up with this fantasy warehouse loosely based on the Industrial Revolution
Here is a picture of the gate asset we were given. To make it look like the scene was situated on an island I added a water system to the scene from the standard assets folder
Here is a picture of the machine asset we were given. To make it feel a bit more exciting I added a spark particle effect to the scene.
This is a render for a project I did recently in College. The brief was to design a room to be implemented in a game. I designed a warehouse room set during the Industrial Revolution You can download this by clicking the link below
This is a game called "Síofra" which I created with Unity 2D in 2nd year of my Game Art and Design course. We had to design a game loosely based on the poem "The Stolen Child" by W.B Yeats. The game tells the story of Síofra who is taken by fairies to a Fairy ring and transported into the fairy world. It is up to the player to help her escape this world and return home to her family. This game was inspired by Irish folklore. A Gameplay video can be accessed by clicking the link below
